Pretty happy for the price. It's definitely twice as good as our previous hoop that was half the price. Seems quite sturdy, good directions (for once), great wheels - way wider and easier rolling than the cheap ones! I'd say only negative is i wish the backboard was a bit thicker. Again, its better than the cheapest but thats what keeps it from a 5 star. Guess that would make it a $500+ hoop. Speaking of hoop itself - phenomenal! Great thickness, great springs make for sturdy bounce. I'm overall very happy.

The basketball hoop quality is excellent. It’s super sturdy and well designed. And the customer service was outstanding.

When I had a problem (not with the construction of the basketball hoop itself) but with a tall delivery truck that came by too close to the curb and hit the rim that was protruding slightly into the street.

I called IGL and spoke with Ane who indicated that because the rim was still in the warranty period she would send me a new rim right away at no cost! That is incredible customer service!

Before buying I read many of the reviews, both good and bad. I learned from other people's mistakes when assembling the hoop and took some advice from others that had success. After a lot of research of many other types of set-ups, I felt that this was the choice for me and my family, which includes both adults and 6- and 8-year-old boys.I will say that this was the best decision, great product, easy to assemble, move around, and very user friendly. The boys love it, and me too.To help you with deciding to purchase or not, I have listed my process when it arrived. The boys wanted to assemble it quickly due to their excitement, but I wanted to do it only once and not have to take it apart and re-assemble due to rushing the job.First, inspect the shipping box when received; delivery companies sometimes can be rough and I had a couple of large holes in the box. I took pictures before opening to ensure if there was damage or missing parts that I had photos to back my claim.Next, read the directions BEFORE assembling! I recommend to read it 2-3 times. This includes making an inventory of all components/parts to ensure you received everything, which I did.Next, WATCH the assembling video on Amazon’s website, extremely helpful! I almost made a mistake but the video confirmed where some parts went. In fact, I watched the video 3 times, only 9 minutes in length, but extremely invaluable.I also followed their recommendations, from the instructions, to use a sawhorse during the process, very helpful, and I had another person assisting.We opted to use sandbox sand from Lowes since we live in the Northeast, we didn’t want the water option to freeze and crack the plastic base.All in all, great product, I highly recommend it.

I recently had surgery that did not allow me to do any yard work or mowing the lawn. My grandson needed a new hoop, so I made a deal with him that I would show him how to mow and trim the lawn, and he would do my yard work and other chores while I recuperated. Amazon delivered it to his home and now that I am able, we assembled it in a few hours. Instructions were clear, all the pieces properly marked and relatively easy for TWO people to assemble. Even the access for the sand into the base was better than most I have seen. My year continues to look great and he is a happy B-Ball teenager!

Very sturdy and functional. We have it in our culd de sac over the last year and the kids from neighborhood enjoy playing.

Way easier to put together than the old one we were replacing, great customer service when contacting them about damaged rim, they offered to send free replacement

Great basketball hoop. I like the adjustable height and it is very, very durable - surviving dunks from Dads who should not longer be dunking a basketball. 😂

This is a great hoop for a really good price. It's sturdy, easy to adjust, and was not too hard to put together. The online video was super helpful. Customer service is excellent. I reached out to them for a replacement part and they replied almost instantly. I would highly recommend this!

After we placed our order, there was a shipping issue, and both Amazon and FedEx updates were vague. I contacted the seller and they already had all the information, and stated that the original shipment had been damaged, and they had another on the way and provided me with tracking. We were only delayed our original delivery date by a couple days.The hoop itself went together very easily and the directions were clear. It seems to be sturdy and well constructed. We used 5+ bags pea gravel instead of sand or water in the base, and it's very stable. The hoop has been getting use for a week straight now by our kids and they absolutely love it.One minor thing I'll note is that the crank mechanism is a little slow to adjust the height up and down, but it does work well and is easy to adjust in either direction.

Ordered this hoop 3 days ago, it arrived so fast. My husband and 15 year old son built it in about 2 hours tonight. They said directions were fine. Not amazing, but not terrible. The hoop is awesome. We filled with water and put 2 sand bags on top. We will always keep it at 10 feet high since our kids are older. It seems pretty stable. Size is great. We are really happy with it and hoping it lasts for 3-5 years if we store it in the garage during the winter and high wind storms that we sometimes have. Recommend this hoop! Wait for a good sale, they come around!

A great, affordable hoop -- easy to assemble and very well made. I have two boys and they haven't stopped playing with it since we received it. Highly recommended.

Really good basketball hoops for the price. Very pleased overall. I bought two of them when they were on sale and building them wasn’t very difficult. When the wind tipped one over a few days after installation, I called customer service regarding a replacement hoop. They promptly assisted me and helped with a solution right away.

Lots of fun and memories. Have this up against the trampoline. Me and the kids play slam ball a lot! Not hard to put together.

Very strong and secure, and fairly easy to assemble, given its size and complexity. I used the back gate of a pickup truck to rest the pole while I worked on assembling the backboard. The portable scaffold, suggested in the installation video is no where near high enough to install the rim. The only disappointment I had was the difficulty of adding the 300lbs of sand into the base. It was quite difficult and took more time to fill the base, than it did to build the unit. I quit at 200 Lbs and put the last two bags of play sand on top of the base. Funnels don’t work and the base had to be stuffed virtually a few handfuls at a time.

Ordered this product recently. It came on time and packaging was intact. It was easy to assemble by myself, with help from another adult for just a couple of steps. Easy to follow instructions. Kids love the hoop and are playing outside all the time. Had a minor question and called IGL customer service. They were quick, responsive and great. Would recommend this hoop.

We’ve had this for over 6 months in the Texas sun and it’s still in great shape. It gets used several times a week it was a great purchase!

Great basketball hoop and very sturdy. It is possible to put it together with one person, but save yourself a massive headache and make sure you have two people.

Great price, good product

Unfortunately I was not home when the box was delivered because I wouldn’t have accepted it. The box was not in its original condition and had multiple layers of tape holding it together. When I opened the box I found a mess. There were five packages of screws and items for assembly. 4 of the 5 bags were open, a number of nuts and washers were missing. Truthfully if the package had arrived in original packaging and condition I don’t think installation would have been that bad. The online instructional video was actually really helpful and besides for the couple of extra hours it took to put together (and extra parts I had to acquire) it seems like it’s well constructed. I like the finished product. I was just disappointed in the condition this item was sent to me in.
